Saudi Arabia places STC’s leader inside closed room in Riyadh

ADEN, Sept. 21 (YPA) – Head of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC), Aidrous Al-Zubaidi, admitted that he was placed inside a closed room in the Saudi capital, Riyadh.

Al-Zubaidi said that Saudi Arabia summoned him to Riyadh last week, and he stayed for two days at his residence without meeting the Saudis.

“We were marginalized and pushed to one side in these talks, and we only knew what was happening except from the media outlets,” he told the British Newspaper of Guardian.

He claimed that current oil revenues are not enough to pay the salaries of the coalition-backed government.
