Scattered rains get expected on parts of Yemen

SANAA, Sept. 11 (YPA) – Rain of varying intensity will be expected to prevail over the different areas of Yemen provinces during the coming 24 hours.

According to the National Center of Meteorology, the rains, which may be accompanied by thunderstorms, would fall over parts of Bayda, Lahj, Dhalea, Taiz, Ibb, Dhamar, Rayma, Mahweet, Hajjah, Sanaa, and Saada, in addition, Abyan, Shabwa, Hadramout and Mahra.

The center said that maximum temperatures ranging between 37-42 degrees Celsius may target the desert areas, with hot and humid weather in the coastal areas, plains and the Socotra archipelago, and temperatures may reach between 34-40 degrees.

It warned citizens against being in the stomachs of valleys, torrential passages, during the rains, as well as a decrease in the horizontal visibility due to fog or low clouds.
