SANAA, July 08 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology and Early Warning forecast on Tuesday mostly cloudy weather in Yemen.
In its weather bulletin, the center that scattered rains would fall on parts of the provinces of Dhamar, Rayma, Sanaa, Mahweet, Hajjah, Amran, and Saada, in addition to Lahj, Abyan, Shabwa, Dhalea, Bayda, Taiz, Ibb, Hadramout and Mahra.
It pointed out that the active to very fast winds would cause sea disturbance and high waves around the Socotra Archipelago, the eastern coasts and the Gulf of Aden.
The center warned citizens in mountainous areas where rainfall expected to occur to avoid or cross floodwaters during rainfall and to take shelter from thunderstorms, calling on the motorists to drive carefully against crossing overpasses during floods.
