Pro-coalition military commander defects, returns to Sanaa

SANAA, Sept. 05 (YPA) -The capital, Sanaa, received the personal protection officer (PPO) of former defense minister in the government loyal to the Saudi-led coalition and a number of military commanders.

Major Humam Muhammad Ali al-Maqdashi arrived in Sana’a accompanied by the commander of the first company of the so-called “Third Brigade Storm of the Borders,” Major Fatah al-Wasabi, in addition to three coalition recruits.

The National Centre for Returnees welcomed al-Maqdashi and al-Wasabi to Sanaa, stressing that the homeland accommodates all the people.

The returnees expressed their thanks for the warm reception, calling on the remaining colleagues in the coalition’s camps to take the advantage of the general amnesty decision and return to the homeland.
