ADEN, Sept .04 (YPA) -A former ambassador in the government loyal to the Saudi-led coalition revealed on Sunday the involvement of Rashad Al-Alimi, the head of the “Presidential Leadership Council” in the deal of the Emirati telecommunications company NX and the sale of telecommunications in Aden to Abu Dhabi.

Rashad Al-Alimi is completely involved in the deal, Former ambassador Ali Amrani said in a post on his “X” platform, stressing that he was the one who directed the minister to sign the agreement, by contacting him when Al-Alimi was visiting Abu Dhabi.”

Southern media confirmed, a few days ago, the arrival of a team of foreign experts, including Israelis, to Aden, noting that the team is examining the installation sites of the new stations.

The media sources pointed out that the team arrived under the banner of “contractors” with the Aden Net company, which was guaranteed by the pro- coalition government in the deal to sell telecommunications in the southern governorates of the UAE.

The UAE is seeking to transport a submarine cable from the island of Socotra, which the UAE has previously linked to its national telecommunications company, to Aden to operate the new company through the UAE’s international telecommunications number.
