Power stations get out of service in Lahj

LAHJ, Aug. 22 (YPA) – Two power stations in Lahj province, south of Yemen, went out of service on Tuesday due to the depletion of diesel.

Electricity Corporation in the province reported that Bir Nasser stations in Tiban district, and Abbas station in the city of Al-Houta get completely out of service as a result of lack of fuel.

Lahj is witnessing a collapse in the electricity system and a decline in electricity lighting hours, which does not exceed two hours throughout the day, according to local residents.
