Clashes break out between Islah militants, tribesmen in Marib

MARIB, Aug 22 (YPA) Clashes broke out on Monday  in Marib governorate, near the Qamad station in Al-Wadi district, between the so-called Road Security forces and the tribes of Al-Hatik, after the later prevented the passage of fuel trucks belonging to the Islah militants.

According to local sources, the clashes erupted after tribesmen from Al Hatik, blocked the passage of fuel trucks belonging to the Islah militants in the area.

Al-Hatik tribe threatened to prevent the exit of any fuel from the Safer area, due to the oil company’s intention to raise fuel prices, the sources said.

The tribes of Marib warned the oil company against any decision that includes raising fuel prices.
