News of arresting suspect of murdering child in Taiz

TAIZ, Aug 18 (YPA) – Activists circulated on social media platforms on Friday circulated news about the arrest of  the suspect of murdering the child Ghaleb Mohammed Ghaleb Al-Hatami by  the Jabal Habashi’s tribe while he was trying to escape from the city of Taiz,  in southwestern Yemen.

This comes after the security department affiliated with the Saudi-led coalition factions failed to arrest him because he is one of the coalition’s recruits in the “Taiz military  axis”.

The activists posted photos they said were of the defendant during his arrest.

They confirmed that a number of citizens from the tribes of Jabal Habashi were able to arrest the killer after he bypassed a security checkpoint belonging to the “17th Brigade” , wearing women’s clothes.

The tribesmen handed him over to the Security Department to be persecuted.

The activists expressed hope that the killer would not be smuggled out or a reconciliation concluded by some influential people in the Taiz axis who are seeking his release.

So far, there was no official  statement from the Taiz police regarding the arrest of the killer.
