MAHRA, Aug. 06 (YPA) – Hundreds of citizens came out in an angry demonstration on Saturday evening in al-Mahra province, condemning the power outage for more than 13 hours during one day.
The protesters who came out in the city of Nashtun demanded to improve electricity conditions and save fuel to reduce the suffering that exhausted them due to the high summer heat.
Citizens blocked the international road connecting al-Mahra and Hadramout for several hours in protest at the breakdown of Service, blaming the coalition’s local authorities for this sharp deterioration.
The protesters also have vowed to completely block the road if their demands for improved electricity service are not met.
