Sanaa’s demands are easy if coalition moves seriously towards peace: Deputy FM

SANAA, July. 30 (YPA) – Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Sanaa government, Hussein Al-Ezzi, confirmed that the coalition has not gone beyond the square of talking about peace.

“Sanaa’s demands are easy if there is seriousness to move towards peace,”he added.
According to Al Masirah TV, Al-Ezzi said that talking about peace in light of the adherence to the siege be provocative, pointing out that the rebuilding of trust can only be accomplished by achieving a breakthrough in the humanitarian file.

“The need of the Yemenis to establish new references for peace,” he explained. “What the coalition adheres to are references to surrender, not starting points for peace.”

Regarding to salaries, Al-Ezzi said that the salary file is essential and sensitive to building confidence and entering into an atmosphere of peace, hinting at going towards other options if the delay in disbursing salaries will continue.

He said that the retreat from the additional flights to the only destination from Sanaa airport is a distasteful step that reflects the coalition’s unwillingness for peace and confidence-building.

Al-Ezzi said that the patience shown by Sanaa and a high degree of self-restraint reflects the high methodology that the leadership does have in leaving war options to the last moment.

“America does not want to stop the war on Yemen and other international parties still have a negative role in terms of dealing and describing the situation in Yemen,” he emphasized.
