STC seize weapons shipment of Islah party in Aden

ADEN, July 15 (YPA) – The UAE-funded factions of the “Southern Transitional Council” thwarted the transfer of large quantities of Islah party weapons to the city of Aden.

According to media affiliated with the Transitional, the “Security Belt” seized a shipment of weapons on board a large truck carrying quantities of detonators and various weapons ammunition at the western entrance of the city in Ras Omran area, coming from Lahj road.

The sources said that the weapons shipment was hidden, including a large amount of detonators and 50 bags containing plastic bags containing submachine gun ammunition, in addition to three pieces of Kalashnikov assault rifles, an FN Minimi submachine gun, and 10 Tata pistols with bullets, in addition to an automatic weapon Periscope.
