STC seizes hundreds of Al-Alimi recruits in Mukalla

HADRAMOUT, July.10 (YPA) – The UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) militias seized on Monday several cars carrying hundreds of citizens in Hadramout province, in eastern Yemen.

Sources familiar with the matter said that a military point prevented the citizens from entering Mukalla city under the pretext that they are recruits belonging to the head of Saudi-formed Presidential Leadership Council, Rashad al-Alimi.

The sources reported that the citizens were riding a number of medium-sized taxis on their way to the Republican Palace in Mukalla.
