SHABWA, July. 05 (YPA) – The Southern Revolutionary Movement (Al-Hirak Al-Janoubi), in Shabwa province, eastern Yemen, issued a fiery statement on the causes of the state of security chaos that the province suffers from.
The statement considered that the heavy presence of the military forces, under the supervision of the coalition, was unable to secure a small part of Shabwa.
It called for the international community to intervene to end the military presence of the coalition-backed armed factions, considering that keeping all those armies controlling Shabwa and the security services a threat to exacerbate the terrible security collapses.
“We affirm that the intensification of the power of the occupying military forces without providing security, stability and protecting civilians will foreshadow massive popular anger in rejection of military presence, which has become one of its tasks only to protect the interests of neighboring countries and suppress opponents,” the statement added.
