Israeli occupation forces launch campaign of raids, arrests in West Bank

OCCUPIED PALESTINE, June 21 (YPA) – Israeli occupation forces launched, at dawn on Wednesday, a campaign of raids and arrests in different areas in the occupied West Bank.

Palestinian sources reported that the enemy forces arrested a freed prisoner from the town of Tammun, south of Tubas, after raiding and searching his house, noting that the enemy raided several other houses without recording any arrests.

In Jenin, enemy forces arrested a young man from the village of Rummaneh, west of Jenin, while he was near the separation wall and the racist expansion on the village lands.

Meanwhile, the head of Orif village council Abed al-Hamim Shehadeh, said that a large Zionist military force raided the village in the morning.

According to Shehadeh, the occupation soldiers broke into the homes of the two village residents who allegedly shot and killed four Israelis yesterday at an illegal settlement north of Ramallah before they were themselves shot and killed by soldiers, Muhannad Shehadeh and Khaled Sabah, and took measurements of their family homes in preparation to demolish them as part of Israel’s collective punishment policy against the Palestinians.

The soldiers also detained five people, members of the Shehadeh family or friends of the two slain Palestinians.
