Former CIA analyst: US may sacrifice Zelensky to avoid ‘nuclear war’ with Moscow

WORLD, June 12 (YPA) – Washington may sacrifice President Vladimir Zelensky and accuse Kiev authorities of orchestrating the sabotage of the “Northern Stream” and the destruction of the Kakhovka hydroelectric station, a former CIA analyst predicted.

Raymond McGovern said in an interview with Stephen Gardner’s YouTube channel that: “There are three main versions. The first is structural damage and water pressure at the top of the Kakhovka Dam, which was artificially done…” he added: “We cannot rule that out.”

“I think it’s more possible that the Ukrainian side did that. Just because this act is not meaningful for Russia to do.”

“There are signs that this is a hypothesis so that part of our government is willing to blame Zelensky.”

He concluded: “As we mentioned, it is in Washington, talking about the northern stream and the destruction of the dam. The US military does not want to engage in an exchange of nuclear strikes with Russia.”
