President Al-Mashat stresses importance of encouraging students to join summer centers

SANAA, May 08 (YPA) – President of the Supreme Political Council, Mahdi Al-Mashat, stressed on Monday the importance of visiting the summer centers to encourage male and female students to join summer courses and benefit from programs and activities.

This came during his visit to the Badr Scientific and Cultural Center in Al-Sabeen District in the capital, Sanaa.

During the visit, President Al-Mashat was acquainted with the educational activities and programs at the Center and listened to students’ words about the knowledge and sciences they gained.

“Today we are visiting the summer courses, eight years after the US-Saudi aggression coalition, whose main goals were to destroy the educational process by targeting schools, cutting teachers’ salaries, and making the Yemeni people ignorant,” he said. “All the goals of the aggression have failed, thanks to Allah, your efforts, and the awareness of the Yemeni people.”

President Al-Mashat emphasized the importance of large and inclusive main goals for the student in order to achieve glory and strength for the country and the nation in general, noting the importance of summer courses in purifying souls and consolidating awareness and insight.
