Egypt refuses 35 Yemeni patients’ entry into

CAIRO, May 07 (YPA) – The Egyptian authorities have refused entry into 35 Yemeni patients through Cairo airport.

According to sources familiar with the matter on Sunday, the Yemeni patients, who were prevented from entering Cairo, met all the conditions that have been recently imposed by the Egyptian government, as the Yemeni citizens carrying medical reports issued by Bulaq Al-Dakrour Hospital of Giza province, but the Egyptian authorities informed them that their medical reports were not approved.

“The authorities are currently working on preparing the Yemeni patients with the goal of returning them to Aden, where they arrived on a flight of the Yemeni airline on Sunday,” the sources added.

The Egyptian authorities had imposed a number of complications on the entry of Yemenis to Egypt, against the backdrop of a visit by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the coalition-backed government, Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak, to Ethiopia, during which he made insulting statements to the Egyptian side, without the government loyal to the coalition being able to deal with the situation with the Egyptian government, because that it does not have an effective weight in the international community, according to political activists in Yemen.
