SANAA, May 07 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology expected warm weather targeting the desert provinces of Yemen.
The center indicated, in its weather bulletin on Sunday, that the provinces of Mahra, Hadramout, Shabwa, Marib, Jawf, the coastal governorates, and the Socotra archipelago, would witness raising temperature, ranging from 35 to 41 degrees Celsius.
The center expected that rains of varying intensity, accompanied by thunderstorms, will prevail over Amran, Mahweet, Dhamar, Rayma, Dhalea, Ibb, Taiz, and Lahj, in additional to parts of the Abyan heights, the west of Saada, Sanaa, and Bayda.
It called on the residents of homes in areas where rain expected to take the necessary precautions as a result of the continued rains.
