At least 60 Al-Shabaab terrorists killed in Somalia

WORLD, May 03 (YPA) – At least 60 Al-Shabaab terrorists were killed in Somalia by the Somalia government forces and allied tribal fighters, Sputnik news agency reported, citing reports from Somalia on Tuesday.

According to Sputnik, 60 al-Shabaab members were killed in an operation carried out by the Somali army in a central province in the country.

Since July 2022, the Somali government forces have conducted military operations against the Al-Shabaab group in cooperation with armed tribesmen.

The al-Shabaab terrorist group is an armed group affiliated with the al-Qaeda terrorist network and has claimed responsibility for many terrorist operations that have killed hundreds of people in Africa.
