Explosion reportedly hit IRGC weapons depots

TEHRAN, May 03 (YPA) – The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) said in a statement  that an explosion hit one of its weapons depots, in Damghan county of Semnan province, The IRNA news agency reported, citing IRGC

The blast happened while the IRGC members in the base were transferring the weapons stored in the depot, the Damghan IRGC’s public relations said.

According to the statement, Jamal Shabestani and Ali Ali-Hosseini have been martyred while three others have been wounded who are undergoing treatment in Semnan province.

The IRGC further said that an investigation is underway about the incident.
