Eight people injured in gas cylinder explosion in Marib
MARIB, April 23 (YPA) – At least eight people from one family were seriously injured when a gas cylinder exploded in a citizen’s house in the center of the city of Marib, which is controlled by the Saudi-led coalition-backed militia.
Local sources in the city said that the gas cylinder exploded in the house of a citizen in Al-Nahdha neighborhood, which led to the injury of the entire family consisting of the husband, wife, and their six children.
The ill-fated family members were transferred to a hospital in the city for treatment, and all of them are in critical condition, the sources added.
The sources attributed such an incident to the continued distribution of damaged cylinders, which constitute time bombs that threaten the lives of thousands of citizens.
In last March, four people from one family were injured as a result of a similar incident occurred in the Al-Rawda neighborhood, west of the city of Marib.
