Explosive device dismantled near camp of UAE factions in Shabwa

SHABWA, April 18 (YPA) – The so-called Shabwa Defense Force announced on Tuesday the dismantling of an explosive device planted near the roads leading to one of its camps in the city of Ataq, the center of Shabwa province in eastern Yemen.

Shabwa defense force said in a statement: “Through continuous follow-up operations and intensified field efforts, “Shabwa Defense Forces” were able to dismantle a high-explosive explosive device connected to a cell phone planted on the road leading to a site belonging to the”second brigade of Shabwa defense” in the city of Ataq.

Shabwa defense force also explained that their forces have cordoned off the area and have launched an investigation to collect evidence and identify those involved in planting the explosive device.
