25 tons of smuggled, expired medicines destroyed in Taiz

TAIZ, March 16 (YPA) – Al-Rahda Customs Center in Taiz governorate destroyed on Wednesday approximately 25 tons of smuggled and expired medicines.

The director of the center, Nabil al-Numaili, explained that the destruction process was carried out in accordance with the law, and in the presence of Representatives and delegates of the concerned authorities.

He stressed that the center will continue in performing its tasks in seizing finished, smuggled and unauthorized goods entering the country, in the interests of the homeland, the health and safety of citizens.
