ADEN, Feb. 26 (YPA) – Fierce armed clashes erupted on Sunday in the city of Aden, which is controlled by Saudi-led coalition militias, in southern Yemen.
According to local sources, armed confrontations broke out in the Sheikh Othman district between militia members of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC), who are belonging to different areas.
No casualties have been reported so far.
The sources indicated that the armed gangs were firing indiscriminately in the middle of the street, pointing out that Aden has become a settlement for armed gangs of the coalition militia.
