STC removes Al-Alimi’s pictures from all governmental facilities in Aden

ADEN, Feb. 26 (YPA) – A leader of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s militia threatened to storm all facilities of the government loyal to Saudi-led coalition in the city of Aden.

Pro- STC activists confirmed in their posts on social media, that the leader Abdul Nasser Al-Baawa “Abu Hammam”, directed his militants to take down pictures of the head of the Riyadh-formed Presidential Council, Rashad Al-Alimi from the offices of the government in Aden, and burn them.

They pointed out that Al-Baawa threatened to storm the offices and headquarters refusing to take down pictures of Al-Alimi starting on Sunday, without clarifying the extent of response to the threats.

Activists circulated a video footage documenting the burning of pictures of Al-Alimi, in protest against his abuse of the southern cause during the past days, as one of the postponed issues.
