Saudi Arabia prepares to deploy military units near Bab Al-Mandab strait

TAIZ, Feb. 13 (YPA) – Local sources revealed that Saudi Arabia arrange for the deployment of military units along the coastal strip stretching between the provinces of Taiz, Lahj and Aden.

The sources pointed out that military units of the homeland shield forces are currently being prepared in Aden province for deployment to Mudharaba and Ras al-Ara areas, which are controlled by Tariq Saleh militias.

They also explained that the strategic island of Mayon, the coast of Thobab and the mountains of Kahbub will be within the area where the “homeland shield forces” will be deployed.
