Landowners hold protest against looting in Aden

ADEN, July 14 (YPA) – Landowners in Aden organized new protests, on Monday, rejecting the looting of their lands.

The owners held a protest in west of Bir Ahmed area, including families of those killed with coalition factions.

This is the sixth protest organized to denounce the attempt to confiscate their lands, which they purchased with their own money, and transfer them to the interest of the second phase of the solar energy project.

The protesters confirmed that they did not receive any response from the concerned authorities to their demands, or even a review of their ownership documents. Rather, they were assaulted by forces loyal to the coalition during their previous protests.
