Iran reveals agreement signed with Saudi Arabia in Jordan
SANAA, Jan. 13 (YPA) – Iran’s Foreign Minister, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, revealed on Friday an agreement between his country and Saudi Arabia was signed at the recent Baghdad summit held in Jordan last month, on “joint dialogue leading to the normalization of relations.”
The Iranian minister’s statements came during a joint press conference with his Lebanese counterpart, Abdallah Bou Habib, in the capital, Beirut, on the sidelines of the Habib’s visit to the country.
The summit included Jordan, Iraq, France, Turkey, Egypt, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain and Iran, in addition to representatives of the European Union, the United Nations, and the League of Arab States.
