UAE kidnap media activist in Socotra

SOCOTRA, Dec. 25 (YPA) – The UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) militia on Sunday kidnapped the media activist in the Socotra archipelago, Omar Al-Sabrahi.

Local media sources reported that the STC militia in Socotra abducted Al-Sabrahi after he criticized the STC and the UAE.

The activist, Al-Sabrahi, criticized head of the “STC” branch in Socotra, who was appointed as its governor, after his permanent failure to manage the province.

It is worth noting that human rights organizations have accused the STC militia of launching kidnapping campaigns in Socotra against many opponents.
