UAE opens first supermarket for Jewish products in Gulf

DUBAI, Dec. 16 (YPA) – The UAE emirate of Dubai witnessed this week the opening of the first supermarket fully specialized in selling halal (kosher) Jewish products in the Gulf countries.

This comes to serve the Jewish community, whose number has increased in Dubai over the past two years.

The aforementioned store, which is called “RIMON”, is located in Dubai, a 5-minute drive from the Jewish Community Center, which includes a synagogue that offers lessons on the Torah, and provides places for family and social gatherings, according to the American Al-Monitor website.
