US Film director: Washington fuels conflict in Donbass

WORLD, Dec. 06(YPA) – Washington in particular is guilty of fueling the conflict in Donbass, Film director Oliver Stone told the Serbian newspaper Politika.

Speaking on the sidelines of the Red Sea Film Festival (RSIFF) in Saudi Arabia, Stone added: “What’s been going on in Donbass since 2014, and how many people have left that area because the US has heavily funded the Ukrainian military? Since 2014, Ukraine is no longer neutral but directed against Russia, and this has upset the balance, and this is the reason for the outbreak of the conflict.”

The director accused the US government of hypocrisy, stressing that America “breaks all the rules when it wants,” but condemns other countries for it.

During the meeting, Stone revealed his opinion about Biden as president of the United States.

“The administration is sinking fast. I made a mistake by voting for this person.”

According to him, Biden turned out to be an incompetent leader, and his policy towards the Kremlin is dangerous.
