WORLD, Oct.04 (YPA) –  Iran’s ambassador and Permanent Representative to the United Nations Office in Geneva, Ali Bahraini, on Monday warned certain countries against issuing hasty statements about the latest developments in his country.

This came during his speech at the 51st session of the Human Rights Council, which is taking place from September 12 to October 7.

Bahraini added, “Since the very first moment of  Mahsa Amini’s death, Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei and President Ebrahim Raisi ordered a thorough investigation into her death.”

He also said that the Iranian Constitution obliges the government to support the right to free speech and peaceful gatherings. However, he added, as the president has said violence and disorder affect the security of the people and violate their rights.

Bahraini called on other countries to refrain from issuing hasty resolutions or statements while the Iranian government is making efforts to create public order and is investigating the developments.
