Gunmen target STC’s security commander in Dhalea

DHALEA, Oct. 02 (YPA) – Gunmen have launched an attack on a senior official in the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council forces in Dhalea province, Yemen’s southern.

This was reported by Yemen News Portal, based on testimonies of local sources.

According to sources, an improvised explosive device planted by gunmen,  exploded near the  home of Mansour al-Bousi,  the deputy commander of the second sector of Security Belt Forces in the city of a-Dhale’,

The sources confirmed that the explosion caused material damage to the official’s house and nearby houses, in addition to causing panic among the residents of the neighborhood.

The attack comes after clashes between gunmen affiliated with the STC and others from the Al-Amaliqa forces in the city of Dhalea.
