NEW YORK, Sept. 25 (YPA) – Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian met on Saturday with his Kuwaiti counterpart Ahmed Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Sabah, in New York on the sidelines of a UN General Assembly meeting.
According to the Iranian agency “IRNA” , they discussed bilateral issues and expanding relations between neighboring countries
They also reviewed issues of bilateral significance, as well as ways to cooperate in the Persian Gulf region, and expansion of relations among neighbors.
During the meeting, the Iranian foreign minister said that “there is a development in the bilateral relationship between Iran and Kuwait.”
In his turn, Kuwait’s foreign minister affirmed his country’s intention to “strengthen relations with Iran,” noting that “Kuwait has the will to achieve this, and it supports nuclear negotiations and regional dialogue.”
