Yemen’s youth team beat Guam 10-1 in Asian Youth Cup qualifiers

VIENTIANE, Sept. 16 (YPA) – Yemen’s youth team swept Guam by ten goals against one goal in the match held on Friday at the National Stadium in Vientiane, the capital of Laos.

This comes within the fourth round of Group C competitions in the qualifiers for the AFC U-20 Youth Cup 2023 in Uzbekistan.

The Yemeni team rose to second place in the standings of Group C, with seven points, followed by the Palestinian team in third place with four points.

The Yemeni youth team will face Japan in the final round of qualifiers, which will be held at the National Stadium in Vientiane, the capital of Laos, next Sunday, before facing Japan.
