Three Palestinians injured by Israeli occupation gunfire in Hebron

OCCUPIED PALESTINE, Sept. 16 (YPA) – At least three Palestinians were injured and dozen others suffocated as Israeli occupation forces fired teargas during an anti-occupation protest in the town of Beit Ummar, in the West Bank province of Hebron, Palestinian media reported on Friday.

“Confrontations erupted between Palestinian protesters and Israeli occupation soldiers shortly after the soldiers shut down the main entrance to the town,” Wafa news Agency reported, citing the Palestinian activist based in Beit Ummar, Mohammad Awad.

He said the occupation soldiers fired rubber-coated rounds and teargas at the protesters, injuring three teenagers in the lower limbs and causing many cases of suffocation gas inhalation.

The wounded were treated at the scene of the protest, he added

The Israeli occupation forces arrested two Palestinian brothers, Muhannad, 23, and Majdi Awad, 18, after raiding their home in the town.
