Dozens of Zionist settlers storm Al-Aqsa Mosque

OCCUPIED PALESTINE, Sept. 12 (YPA) – Dozens of Zionist settlers escorted by occupation police broke into the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in occupied al-Quds (Jerusalem) on Monday.

According to the Islamic Awqaf and Al-Aqsa Affairs Department in Jerusalem, dozens of Israeli settlers entered the compound through the Moroccan Gate and left from Bab al-Silsilah in groups and performed rituals and Talmudic prayers, especially in the eastern region, under the protection of occupation police officers.

The latest development comes as amid calls by so-called Temple Mount groups urging fans to break en masse into the holy site at the end of this month marking the Jewish holidays.

Since 2003, the Israeli occupation authorities have allowed settlers into the compound almost on a daily basis, with the exclusion of Friday, the Muslim day of rest and worship.
