IDLIB, Sept. 11 (YPA) – Over 20 high-ranking leaders of Jabhat al-Nusra organization were killed in airstrikes in Syria, Oleg Yegorov, deputy chief of the Russian Center for Reconciliation in Syria said.
In a statement to “Russian Today”, Oleg Yegorov affirmed that the Russian air forces launched airstrikes on the militants’ camp in Idlib province on Thursday, killing over 20 members of the organization, including the leader of Katibat al Tawhid wal Jihad illegal armed group Sirajuddin Mukhtarov (codename Abu Saloh), who was behind the organization of terror attacks on Syrian government forces and civil infrastructure facilities.
According to Yegorov, they were in charge of “combat training of militants, and organization of financial and administrative activities of the organization.”.
They also supervised the organization of the financial and administrative activities of the terrorist organization.
