Iraq: Four rockets land on Soran district in Kurdistan region

KURDISTAN, Sept. 06 (YPA) – Iraqi sources reported on Monday evening that four rockets landed on the district of Soran in the Kurdistan region of Iraq.

The sources said that four rockets targeted the district of Soran in Erbil province in the Kurdistan region of Iraq.

According to the Kurdistan Region’s counter-terrorism directorate, a drone targeted suspected members of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) in Erbil’s Balisan Valley, around the same time of the reported rocket incident in Soran.

So far no group has claimed responsibility for the attack and no reports have been released about the possible casualties or injuries.
