LAHJ, Aug. 21 (YPA) – Three citizens have disappeared during the past hours in the Yafea district, Lahj governorate, southern Yemen, and their fate still unknown.
Activists on social media reported that the three citizens were identified as “Mohammed Yahya, Bilal Ahmed, Radwan Jamal” were on a truck on their way to Taiz, before their disappeared amid mysterious circumstances in Al-Salam market in Yafea Labous, according to the latest contact with their families.
They confirmed that one of the trucks broke down in Yafea, and its driver asked two of his friends for help, and the three disappeared without knowing their fate, which remains unknown until now.
The activists explained that residents found the trucks were parking on the road without finding the drivers in the area.
The sources said that the three drivers were likely kidnapped by members of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s militia and taken to an unknown location.
