Security guard injured in Taiz shooting

TAIZ, Aug.03 (YPA) – A security guard was injured on Wednesday in a shooting inside the areas that the Saudi-led coalition controlled over in the city of Taiz.

Local sources affirmed that unknown gunmen riding a motorbike opened fired towards a truck of to Hayel Saeed Anam company carrying money in an attempt to loot it, but they failed after violent clashes erupted with the truck’s guards in the city center.

The sources pointed out that the guards of the truck thwarted the robbery of the money, so the gunmen fled to an unknown destination.

This came one day after the closure of an armed gang, led by Ghazwan Al-Mikhlafi, the shops of the merchant Mohammed Al-Sumli, and looting one of his car loaded with merchandise and money.
