SANAA, July. 28 (YPA) -The National Center of Meteorology has expected rain of varying intensity on most Yemeni provinces within the coming 24 hours.
In the center, in its weather forecast, the rain, accompanied by thunderstorms, would prevail over the mountainous heights of the provinces of Lahj, Taiz, Ibb, Dhalea, Rayma, Mahweet, Hajjah, Dhamar, Sanaa, Amran and Saada.
It announced that varying thunderstorms, with the rain might target the interior hilltops of the provinces of Abyan, Bayda, Shabwa, Hadramout and Mahra, and the deserts area of Mahra, Hadramout, Shabwa, Marib and Jawf.
The center pointed to severe monsoon winds, with speeds ranging between 35-45 knots, would hit the Socotra archipelago and 15-25 knots in the Gulf of Aden, the eastern and southern coasts and the entrance to Bab al-Mandab.
It warned citizens against being in the valleys and water ways as a result of rain, as well as the low horizontal visibility forming on mountain roads due to low clouds.
