HODEIDA, July. 27 (YPA) – A young man was killed on Wednesday in a shooting at Al-Khokha district of the western coast of Yemen.
Media sources reported that the man, Moaz Ibrahim Jaloum, was shot dead by the UAE-backed former director of the Al-Khokha district, Mohammad Yahya Abdul Salam, in the village of Bani Jaloum.
Al-Khokha district, south of Hodeida province, which is controlled by the Saudi-led coalition forces, is witnessing security chaos and conflicts between the so-called “Tuhami brigades” funded by Saudi Arabia and al-Amaliqa Brigades and Tariq Afash backed by UAE, amid efforts by Afash to control the district and extend its coasts.
