Iran sends warships to Gulf of Aden

SANAA, June 21 (YPA) – The Iranian navy on Thursday sent a fleet of two warships to the Gulf of Aden and west of Asia, Iran’s state Mehr news agency reported.

The fleet includes a helicopter-carrier and a naval destroyer.

According to the agency, the ships were sent in a mission tour that would include the Gulf of Aden, northern Indian Ocean and the Strait of Bab al-Mandab.
