Shabwa electricity goes out of service

SAHBWA, May 25 (YPA) – A power outage in Shabwa province during the past hours has caused stopping services in most of the province’s districts.

Local sources indicated that the hours of power outage exceeded 15 hours per day in the city of Ataq, the capital of the province.

They emphasized that the continued power outages proved the powerlessness of the UAE-run local authorities after the overthrow of the governor of the province, loyal to Saudi-backed Islah Party, Mohammed Saleh bin Adyo, who made electricity service a priority during the past years.
