STC militias attack several vendors in Aden

ADEN, May 18 (YPA) – The UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s military vehicles attacked several vendors in the city of Aden, south of Yemen, which is controlled by the Saudi-led coalition.

Activists published a video showing one of the military vehicles destroyed the sellers’ goods owned by the sons of the northern provinces in the popular markets, asking them to pay exorbitant royalties.

The activists reported that the acts came under the directives of the leadership of the “STC” militia, to pay the huge financial levies, after the militia launched a massive campaign of arrests at the entrances of Aden, targeting hundreds, most of them from Taiz.

The “STC” militia prevented returnees from the northern provinces from entering the city of Aden after taking Eid al-Fatr holiday in their areas.
