OCCUPIED PALESTINE, May 09 (YPA) – At least three Palestinians were killed by Israeli occupation forces’ fire in Bethlehem and Tulkarem in the occupied West Bank and al-Quds city.
In Al-Quds city, In Jerusalem, a young man was shot dead by Israeli occupation police for allegedly carrying out a stabbing attack in the Bab al-Amoud area.
Forces reportedly attacked all those present in the vicinity of Bab al-Amoud and closed all entrances to the Old City and the blessed al-Aqsa Mosque.
In Tulkarem, the Palestinian Ministry of Health said a youth was killed after being shot by Israeli forces near the Jabara military checkpoint.
The youth was identified as Mahmoud Sami Khalil, from Khan Yunis city, in the southern Gaza Strip.
Israeli occupation soldiers stationed at the military checkpoint heavily fired at the youth after he crossed through one of the breaches in the separation barrier, injuring him seriously.
He was taken to a hospital in Israel, where he was pronounced dead.
In the occupied West Bank city of Bethlehem, Israeli forces last night shot dead a Palestinian youth, the ministry of health confirmed.
The Ministry said in a statement that Mutasem Mohammad Atallah, a 17-year-old Palestinian from the village of Harmala in the occupied West Bank district of Bethlehem, was shot dead by Israeli occupation forces inside the colonial Israeli settlement of Tekoa.
Villages and cities in the West Bank and al-Quds ( Jerusalem) have been witnessing direct and escalating clashes between Palestinians and the Israeli occupation army forces, in which sometimes Palestinians get killed or wounded.
