SOCOTRA, March 16 (YPA) – The United Arab Emirates (UAE) occupation forces have started arrangements for the establishment of a Zionist military base on the Yemeni island of Socotra in the Arabian Sea.
This was reported by Yemen News Portal , based on the testimonies of sources familiar with the issue.
According to the sources, the Khalifa Bin Zayed al-Nahyan Foundation and the Emirati Red Crescent concluded a new contract with Israeli companies Yossi Abraham and Mefram for the establishment of a new military base.
The sources explained that the base would be equipped with a training camp for Israeli and Emirati forces near the city of Hadibu, as well as the establishment of international liaison units for surveillance agencies.
The Israeli companies had begun expansion of Hadibu International Airport, after it had previously already been converted into a de facto Israeli military base.
These developments coincide with the recent escalation of American and Zionist movements on Yemeni islands and coasts, amid a widespread depletion of the country’s wealth by Western corporate interests.
