ADEN, Mar. 06 (YPA) – An angry protest rally was organized on Sunday in the city of Al-Mualla in Aden city, south of Yemen, against corruption.
During the rally, the protesters demanded accountability for corrupt and looters of the lands of the housing associations in the city.
They called on all southern segments to stand together against expropriating their looted lands and related to extracting the housing request, which was called by the Aden governor, Ahmed Hamid Lams, appointed by Saudi-backed exiled Hadi government, during his meeting with the housing association committee of the 31st Armored Brigade.
Head of the housing association committee, Brigadier General Thabet Youssef, said in the statement after the rally: “We will continue to escalate and declare a revolution of anger, until our rights be restored.”
