Ansarullah Spokesman: Aggression against Hodeidah is destroying political solution

SANAA, June 16 (YPA) – Spokesman of Ansarullah Movement, Mohammed Abdulsalam, said on Saturday that the continuation of the aggression against Hodeidah and other Yemeni areas is destroying the political solution.

In a phone conversation with Mayadeed TV Channel, Abdulsalam denied that Saudi-led coalition forces had entered Hodeidah Airport.

“There is a battle of attrition awaiting for the Saudi coalition,” he said, adding that the coalition troops are besieged in Duraihemi district of the province.

“The UN envoy is supposed to be a mediator to resolve the crisis, and he should present a solution and not carry messages only,” Abdulsalam said commenting on the role of the UN special envoy to Yemen.

He affirmed that the aim of the war is to subjugate Yemen to foreign occupation.
